DevOps Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to help us scale and secure our cloud-native infrastructure across regulated digital health products. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security within a healthcare or similarly regulated domain.
This is a mission-critical role at the intersection of technology, compliance, and patient impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based / serverless infrastructure (AWS/GCP/AZURE) for scalable deployment of SaMD solutions.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, high-quality delivery of Newel Health ’s digital therapeutics and backend services.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure continuous integration aligns with regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using Terraform or similar tools.
- Configure infrastructure policies and controls (e.g. network, access control, backup) promoting confidentiality, integrity, availability of information managed in transit and at rest
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability, with an emphasis on patient safety, data protection, and uptime.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution for production infrastructure issues.
