Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic business decisions.
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial reporting and planning.
- Maintain a strong understanding of accounting standards, tax requirements, and financial regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Support the finance department in cash flow management, reconciliations, and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Partly qualified in ACCA, CMA, CASL, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, finance, or auditing roles.
- Strong proficiency in English and Sinhala (Tamil would be an added advantage).
- Skilled in MS Excel and accounting software; familiarity with ERP systems will be a plus.
