Who we are
At OpenUp , our mission is to make mental well-being accessible to everyone. We support companies, their employees, and their families with proactive and practical mental health services. Through our platform, clients can access 1:1 check-ins, online courses, articles, videos, group sessions, mindfulness practices, and a team of committed experts. We believe that mental and physical well-being are deeply connected. With Lifestyle Experts focusing on nutrition, exercise, and sleep, we offer a truly holistic approach that helps people take ownership of their health. We’re proud to work with forward-thinking organizations and are committed to raising the bar on accessible care.
OpenUp is ranked in the Top 3 on LinkedIn’s Top Startups list for 2023, 2024 & 2025 and is still growing. We are expanding our international teams and we are searching for like-minded talent. We are already helping over 2000+ (international) companies and 550K+ employees, e.g. Rituals, Deloitte, Decathlon, KPMG, and McDonalds.
About the assignment
To fuel our growth, we are looking for entrepreneurial, purpose-driven experts who share our vision of making health and well-being direct, approachable, and impactful.
At OpenUp , we focus on prevention, therefore we guide individuals to take control of their personal finances, reduce financial stress, and create healthy money habits. Whether it’s budgeting, savings strategies, planning for financial security, or building confidence in financial decision-making – we empower people with clarity and actionable steps. Please note we offer coaching, not financial product advice.
We offer planned and on-demand video consults seven days a week, ensuring people can access support when they need it most – no long waits, no barriers. In each session (usually 25 minutes), you’ll help clients set clear, achievable financial goals and guide them toward meaningful first steps.
Our mission is to help people build skills and autonomy, so they feel confident to continue their journey independently. Many clients find they gain what they need in just a few focused conversations – thanks to your structured, goal-oriented support.
You’ll engage with a wide variety of people, from diverse cultural backgrounds and industries, and you’ll have opportunities to grow through weekly intervision sessions and ongoing development. We work together to make well-being accessible, practical, and empowering for everyone.
About you
You’re passionate about helping people improve their financial health and resilience. You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a meaningful mission.
We welcome experts who meet the following criteria:
BA degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience providing 1:1 consulting, financial advisory, or coaching on personal finance, budgeting, or financial well-being.
Certification in financial planning, budget coaching or WFT (at least Basis and Asset management) (completed or in progress).
Nice to have: local certifications, regulated advisory licenses, or financial coaching accreditations (e.g., in the Netherlands: WFT Asset Management under the Financial Supervision Act).
