About the Hiring Company:Our client is hiring a Marketing Manager to own that market end to end. You will be the single point of contact and the single accountable person for how our game titles perform in Indonesia — from budget and channel strategy through to which games get pushed, how, and where.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role. You will translate central strategy into locally relevant execution. There is no existing playbook to inherit; you will build it.
Key Responsibilities
Content Distribution
Plan and execute content distribution across the local channel mix: forums, affiliates and social platforms such as YouTube, Telegram, Discord and other market-relevant platforms.
Localise and adapt central content, creative and promotional assets for Indonesian audiences, coordinating production needs with the Content and Design teams.
Work with the Content Team to prioritise which titles are promoted and when — you own the data-backed recommendation.
Feed market intelligence back into the business: what Indonesian players respond to, competitor releases, lobby and positioning trends.
Community Management
Build and run local communities, driving activity, retention and return engagement.
Maintain community quality and integrity standards: genuine engagement, transparent incentive disclosure, and vigilance against fraud and fake activity.
Channel and Partner Management
Own direct relationships with affiliate networks, content creator and clip distribution networks, community forums, and Telegram and messaging-app groups.
Negotiate terms, monitor partner quality, and enforce brand and content standards across the network.
Grow the partner pipeline rather than maintain it, and actively reduce single-partner dependency.
Budget Ownership
Own the Indonesia marketing budget: allocation across channels, forecasting, spend tracking and ROI reporting, working with the reporting manager.
Release funding in stages, scaling spend behind activity that has proven results.
Manage partner payouts and commercial terms within approved guardrails.
Performance, Measurement and Reporting (KPI)
Define, own and report the market's KPIs (see next section) — set the targets, then be measured against them.
Establish attribution where it does not exist, using partner-specific landing pages, UTMs and campaign tagging to isolate channel, partner and sponsorship performance.
Report weekly and monthly on spend efficiency, game-level performance and market position.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the main liaison for internal teams — commercial, technical, design and content — on anything relating to Indonesian marketing and promotions.
Own external relationships for the market, including operators/clients, aggregators, affiliates and community partners, ensuring consistent messaging and coordinated activity.
Support commercial and account teams with market context in operator conversations.
Success in the first 6–12 months looks like:
Recognized as the point of contact for Indonesia by internal and external stakeholders.
Direct channel KPIs tracked, reported and trending against targets.
Measurable growth in total Indonesian players on game titles.
Active, healthy communities with growing positive engagement across digital platforms.
